Former Kotoko Defender Awal Mohammed Join Saudi Arabian side Al Ansar

Saudi Arabian side Al Ansar complete the signing of Ghanaian International Awal Mohammed on a season deal,GhAfric can report.

The former kumasi Asante Kotoko defender has officially sealed one year contract with the second tier Saudi Arabian side Al Ansar on free transfer.

Awal began his career with the Feyenoord Academy. On 10 July 2010, he joined ASEC Mimosas on loan before joining kotoko in 2012.

Awal joined South African Premier Soccer League club Maritzburg United .

On 8 August 2016, Awal signed a one-year contract, with the option of a second, with Arsenal Tula.

His previous club, Raja Casablanca, did not send the transfer documents in time for Awal to be registered for Arsenal Tula with the Russian Football Premier League

Mohammed spent last season with Kuwaiti side Al Fahaheel finish second in the top-flight.
